Ingredients
  

Sandwich
  • 2-3 jalapeños roasted
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 slices bread white, sourdough, or brioche
  • 1-2 tbsp butter

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Oven or air fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Roast whole jalapeños until blistered, about 10–12 minutes.
  2. Remove stems and seeds if desired, then chop jalapeños.
  3. Mix cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and roasted jalapeños.
  4. Spread mixture onto one slice of bread and top with cheddar and mozzarella.
  5. Add the second slice of bread and butter the outside surfaces.
  6. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For extra heat, keep seeds or add pickled jalapeños.
