Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Whisk together orange juice, orange zest, garlic, ginger, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken in baking dish and coat with orange mixture.
- Add optional orange slices around the chicken.
- Roast for 35–45 minutes, basting halfway through.
- Broil for 2–3 minutes for caramelization.
- Serve with extra sauce and fresh thyme.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate chicken in the orange mixture for 30 minutes before roasting.
