Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange crackers in a single layer on the prepared sheet.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and stir until fully combined.
- Allow the caramel mixture to boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and pour evenly over the crackers.
- Bake for 5 minutes to help caramel set.
- Remove and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let soften, then spread evenly.
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the chocolate.
- Chill for 20–25 minutes or until firm. Cut or break into bite-sized pieces.
Notes
Store in refrigerator for best texture. Freeze up to 3 months.
