- Heat a skillet with olive oil and brown the Italian sausage, breaking it apart.
- Add onion and cook until softened, then add garlic.
- Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add uncooked pasta, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth; stir well.
- Cover and simmer 12–14 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Reduce heat and stir in cream and parmesan until creamy.
- Top with fresh basil and extra parmesan before serving.
Notes
Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor. Adjust broth depending on pasta shape.
