Ingredients
  

Float Base
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda chilled
  • 2 tbsp grenadine syrup
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 maraschino cherries for garnish
  • 1 tbsp cherry juice optional
  • 1 cup ice cubes optional
Optional Toppings
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream optional
  • 2 slices lime wedges optional garnish

  • Ice cream scoop

Method
 

  1. Chill tall serving glasses in the refrigerator for 5–10 minutes for best results.
  2. Add ice cubes to each glass if using.
  3. Pour 1 tablespoon of grenadine syrup into each glass.
  4. Slowly pour chilled lemon-lime soda into the glass until three-quarters full.
  5. Gently add one scoop of vanilla ice cream to each glass.
  6. Allow the foam to rise naturally as the ice cream reacts with the soda.
  7. Drizzle optional cherry juice on top for extra flavor.
  8. Garnish with maraschino cherries and lime wedges, then serve immediately.

Notes

Use very cold soda and high-quality vanilla ice cream for the creamiest foam and best flavor.
