Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook diced apples with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and salt until slightly softened. Cool.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.
- Place apple filling in the center of each square.
- Fold corners to center, pinch edges, and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve warm.
Notes
Chill puff pastry and don’t overfill to prevent bursting.
