Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook apples with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and cornstarch until softened and thickened.
- Separate dough into portions and flatten slightly.
- Place apple filling and one caramel candy in the center of each dough piece.
- Seal dough completely around filling and roll into a ball.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Best served warm for a gooey caramel center.
