Ingredients
  

Apple Filling
  • 2 cups apples peeled and diced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
Assembly
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 12 caramel candies unwrapped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook apples with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and cornstarch until softened and thickened.
  3. Separate dough into portions and flatten slightly.
  4. Place apple filling and one caramel candy in the center of each dough piece.
  5. Seal dough completely around filling and roll into a ball.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Best served warm for a gooey caramel center.
