Method
- Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Optional: Sear chicken in 2 tablespoons butter for 2–3 minutes per side.
- Sauté garlic in remaining butter for 30–45 seconds.
- Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker and pour sautéed garlic over them.
- Whisk together chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, melted butter, and honey. Pour over chicken.
- Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Garnish with parsley and lemon slices before serving.
Notes
Thicken sauce with cornstarch slurry if desired.
