- Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush baguette slices with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and toast 8–10 minutes.
- While toasting, soften cream cheese and chop dill. Slice red onion if using.
- Spread cream cheese on each toasted baguette slice and top with smoked salmon.
- Sprinkle with dill and capers, add red onion if desired.
- Arrange on serving platter with lemon wedges and serve immediately.
Notes
Assemble just before serving to keep crostini crisp.
