Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease casserole dish.
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Sear pork chops 2–3 minutes per side until golden; remove from skillet.
- Make cheese sauce by melting butter, whisking in flour, gradually adding milk, then cheese and thyme.
- Layer half of potatoes, onions, and sauce in casserole dish; repeat layers.
- Place pork chops on top and spoon extra sauce over them.
- Cover with foil and bake 35 minutes; remove foil and bake 15–20 minutes more until golden and tender.
Notes
Serve hot, garnish with parsley for a fresh finish.
