- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually mix in flour mixture until soft dough forms.
- Scoop dough onto prepared sheets, flatten slightly, bake 10–12 minutes.
- Immediately press a strawberry chocolate kiss into each cookie center. Cool on wire racks.
