Method
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat softened butter and sugar until light and creamy.
- Mix in vanilla extract.
- Add flour and salt, mixing until a crumbly dough forms.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips and toffee bits.
- Shape dough into small balls and flatten slightly, or slice from a dough log.
- Bake for 14–18 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.
Notes
For extra richness, add a pinch of sea salt after baking. Dough can be frozen for up to 3 months.
