  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 0.66 cup water
Rice
  • 2 cups cooked white rice warm
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 0.5 tsp cumin
  • 0.5 tsp chili powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup black beans optional
  • 0.5 cup corn optional
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup salsa
  • 0.25 cup cilantro chopped
Crunchy Topper
  • 2 cups Doritos Nacho Cheese, lightly crushed

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened.
  2. Season warm cooked rice with butter, cumin, chili powder, salt, and garlic powder.
  3. Prepare toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, beans, corn, cheese, and salsa.
  4. Layer bowls with rice, taco beef, cheese, vegetables, and sauces.
  5. Top with crushed Doritos, cilantro, and lime juice before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, use Mexican rice or cilantro-lime rice instead of plain rice.
