Ingredients
  

Maple Bacon Carrots
  • 2 lbs carrots peeled and cut
  • 5 slices bacon chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup pure
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar optional
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Cook chopped bacon until crispy and set aside.
  3. Place carrots on a baking sheet and drizzle with butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss until evenly coated.
  5. Roast for 25–35 minutes, tossing halfway, until caramelized and tender.
  6. Top with crispy bacon and garnish with herbs before serving.

Notes

Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for deeper caramelization.
