Method
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Cook turkey until browned and set aside.
- Sauté onion, garlic, bell pepper, and carrot until softened.
- Add rice and toast lightly for 1–2 minutes.
- Pour in broth and stir in paprika, turmeric, cumin, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 15–20 minutes until rice is tender.
- Fold turkey back into rice and cook 2–3 minutes more.
- Garnish with parsley and optional chili flakes before serving.
