- In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, turmeric, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Add chicken to the marinade and coat evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven or grill to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove chicken from marinade and shake off excess.
- Cook chicken 20–25 minutes in oven or grill 6–7 minutes per side.
- Allow chicken to rest 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with herbs and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Greek yogurt creates the creamiest marinade and helps keep the chicken tender during cooking.
