Method
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Stretch pizza dough into a 12-inch circle and place on parchment.
- Mix olive oil and garlic; brush over the dough.
- Layer mozzarella, lemon slices, lemon zest, crushed red pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Finish with basil, olive oil, and optional parmesan.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Slice lemons paper-thin so they caramelize and mellow in flavor.
